Zombieland Saga is an anime series created for the television audience by Cygames in collaboration with Avex Pictures. The Japanese anime series directed by Munehisa Sakai was originally written by Shigeru Murakoshi. The background score was produced by Yasuharu Takanashi and the anime was created at MAPPA studio. The season 1 of Zombieland Saga began airing on October 4th of 2018 and has had 12 episodes so far. Saki Nikaido was the leader of a Biker’s Gang who died in a chicken race in 1997. Ai Mizuno was the former lead vocalist of the band Iron frill, who died after being stuck by lightning during a concert in 2008. Junko Konno, the most reserved and kind member of the Zombie band was also a former famous idol who died in a plane crash in the mid 1980s. Yugiri was a courtesan who lived during the Bakumatsu era is the 4rth member of the group. Lily Hoshikawa is a transgender who was a musical prodigy. She died due to gender discrimination and overwork. Tae yamada is the final member of the idol group who christened the group with the name “Franchouchou”
The reason for reviving these 7 girls was to get revenge and also save the Saga Prefecture which is actually is a small prefecture between Sea of Japan and Ariake Sea in the northwestern region of Kyushu of Japan. Zombieland Saga Season 2 News Updates
Since the series premiered this year and has just finished with the 12th episode, no news has yet been confirmed about the Zombieland Saga Season 2. Due to its huge popularity and fandom, rumours have been circulating for some time now about the next season.
During an interview with the Newtype magazine, director Munehisa Sakai and scriptwriter Shigeru Murakoshi, Shigeru said that predicting the end based on the first episode will not help or give you any plot ideas. In fact, the way the storyline progresses, many might feel bad thinking that Sakura might have a very unhappy ending. But it is best to not let your imagination fly as there is a lot to happen yet.
The Expected Release Date of Zombieland Saga Season 2
Zombieland Saga Season 1 received a great deal of appreciation worldwide from all the anime lovers as well as the critics.
